I'm a contemporary artist based in Naples, Florida. My work encompasses painting, sculpture, and mixed media.

Born in Framingham, Massachusetts, I began studying portraiture at an early age through the Old Masters tradition.

Over more than five decades my work has evolved from representational painting toward intuitive abstraction, reflecting my curiosity, versatility, and commitment to experimentation.

In 2022, inspired by the war in Ukraine, I began painting portraits on patterned fabrics, expressing the shared humanity that connects us all.

This work led to the founding of Same Cloth, a nonprofit dedicated to supporting Artists creating projects for children facing adversity.

My recent Chaos series furthers this evolution, exploring disorder, transformation, and discovery. I have lived, and worked in Naples since 1990, creating from my home studio.

Artist Statement

My creative process is guided by intuition, curiosity, and a willingness to embrace the unexpected. I allow each painting to evolve naturally, often transforming earlier works into new expressions.

Through the Chaos series, I explore the balance between disorder and harmony, discovering beauty and clarity within uncertainty.

I believe art should invite imagination rather than dictate meaning, allowing each viewer to discover something uniquely their own.
