"I paint to express my inner spirituality and given talent, working with oils, acrylic and mixed media on canvas & wood. My work is inspired by Nature and Architecture."
Artist
Bio
American Artist born in 1950 in Framingham, Massachusetts, I began studying portrait painting at an early age, adopting an Old-World Masters approach. My style is diverse and eclectic, demonstrating a broad skill set honed over 50 years of dedicated study and practice. My body of work reveals a variety of mediums.
After 40 years in Massachusetts I moved to Naples, Florida in 1990, where I designed, opened, owned and operated Salon Zenergy. This afforded me to continue my art career.
In 2011, I designed and built a 500-square-foot art studio as part of my home. In addition, my love of art transcended into creating my own personal botanical garden. While my portfolio includes many conventional, crowd-pleasing pieces, my recent work in abstract expressionism marks asignificant evolution in my artistic journey, driven by a newfound sense of creative freedom. This shift has coincided with my philanthropic efforts, leading to the creation of the Relief Through Art Foundation. Inspired by the tragedy of the Ukrainian war and the subsequent global refugee crisis. I crafted over 27 paintings of refugee faces from around the world since March 2022.
These works are hand-painted on various printed fabrics, symbolizing the belief that "We all come from the same cloth." Through this foundation, we aim to provide support and relief through the power of art.
My biggest accomplishment was raising my son and most proud of, is my family. I’m blessed with a wonderful son Michael Iannitelli, his wife Katherine and 2 amazing Grandsons Matthew Liam and Michael Wanda.
"One quickly realizes that Nancy Iannitelli is one of those remarkably gifted artists who can transform any raw combination of media into a masterpiece."
